I was back awhile ago, but sh. I came home to my internet being disconnected, due to the fact that we were moving, so I'm only getting to post now. DURR HURR.

ANYWAY. Otakuthon was great! Being in Montreal was REALLY intimidating for me, as I've never really been anywhere bigger than downtown Ottawa...which...is pretty much tiny in comparison. It also sucked because I had some terrible stomach THING for all of friday. It cleared up a little come saturday, but before that I felt awful. Ohgod. I wanted to eat, but was afraid I'd throw it up ten minutes later. I had a nice long bath at the hotel though. That seemed to fix it. xD

The train ride was very relaxing. I slept like a log on the way back. BUTYES. CON REPORT.

I've only ever been to one con. The tiny AC^3 that has been held in Ottawa these past three or so years. Otakuthon was far more crowded.

Selling art was a lot of fun, and I'd love to do it again. Granted, I didn't get as much business as I would've liked...mainly because my BUTTONS NEVER FUCKING ARRIVED. -still angry- The people who did come to my table were wickedly nice though. Thank you to everyone who stopped by! And thanks double if you bought a print/sketch commission. <3

Sure enough, the artist next to me was *borammy. Just my luck, eh? I never got a chance to talk to her, since I was generally overwhelmed by the fact that there were so many people and...I didn't understand any of them. FRENCH. FUCK.

I'll probably turn out going again next year. It depends how things go. I know if I do, I'll be more prepared when it comes to stuff to sell. As I said to my mother, this year was mainly a learning process. I know the ropes now, and what people will buy. And, also as I said to her, hopefully my buttons will arrive before then!

No pictures, unfortunately. Kitty isn't a very good photographer. Over the entire weekend he only snagged 13 pictures. All of which are completely irrelevant. ):

It was a lot of fun. I liked how they had the tables in with all of the other stuff that was selling. It was a neat change, since it brought more potential customers who wouldn't normally look at art. xD

I may be going again next year. So get a table! O:
